FUSION LX1 SOFTWARE UPDATE Like all advanced technology, software plays a vital role in ensuring your Fusion LX1 performs at its best. To make sure your unit is running the latest version of our performance software, please review the information below. DO I NEED THIS UPDATE? If you purchased a Fusion LX1 Portable Launch Monitor with a serial code beginning with “FLX1 0924” found on the back label, your device is eligible for this update. This update is optional. Your LX1 will continue to operate normally without it, but installing it is recommended to unlock new features and optimize performance. WHAT’S NEW IN THIS UPDATE 1. Extended Auto Sleep Control Your LX1 will no longer automatically power down after 10 minutes when connected via USB or Bluetooth and data transfer is active. 2. Display Brightness Control A new Low Brightness Mode has been added, allowing users to reduce screen brightness by up to 50% for improved visibility in bright outdoor conditions or extended battery life. This can be toggled with a new button sequence shown below. 3. Connectivity Optimization Enhanced firmware ensures faster pairing and improved stability with the Fusion LX1 mobile app and compatible devices. WHAT YOU’LL NEED A microSD card formatted FAT32 Fully charged batteries or connected power source A Windows based computer for file transfer UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS Download and unzip the latest firmware update file: Fusion LX1 Software Update v1.2.3 link placeholder Copy the unzipped files onto your freshly formatted microSD card. Insert the SD card into your Fusion LX1. Power on the device with fresh batteries or connected power. Enter Update Mode: Press the following button sequence: Zoom Out → Mode → Mode → Zoom In → Mode The “Firmware Upgrade” screen will appear. Press Zoom Out to begin the upgrade. “Updating...” will be displayed during the process approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Once complete, the LX1 will automatically shut down. Remove the SD card and restart your device to complete installation. ACTIVATING LOW BRIGHTNESS MODE After rebooting, your device will operate normally. To access the new Low Brightness Mode: Press and hold the Brightness button for 2 seconds. The display will show “Backlight: LOW.” Cycle through brightness levels while in Low Mode. To return to High Mode, press and hold the Brightness button again. You may leave it in Low Mode permanently if preferred.
